Understanding the criticality of being able to provide highly accurate dimensional checks in specific circumstances, American Power Service has developed an ongoing relationship with East Coast Metrology Global, an expert in high-accuracy field measurement.
As a result of this collaboration, we can dimensionally inspect bearings using metrology grade instruments such as laser trackers. A laser tracker is a portable measurement system that can achieve inspection accuracies below 0.001”. The versatility of the instruments allows bearings of any size to be inspected at our facility.
A complete set of reports, including graphs and dimensional charts can then be provided, depending on the customer's specific needs.
